Challenge

WheatLeads, a lead-generation agency, needed a new acquisition flow for Banco Actinver to reach working Mexicans with formal employment and the capacity to save or invest. Paid campaigns were running, but each lead cost around $5.

The flow had to feel like a native Actinver experience, but it was a brand-new product: there were no existing components to build on, and a generic form wasn't enough to engage a broad, diverse audience.

Goal

My goal was to lower the cost per lead and raise lead quality by making the flow feel relevant to each person, while staying fully aligned with Actinver's brand.

I worked as the UX/UI designer in a cross-functional team with a full-stack developer and a paid media manager, collaborating with Actinver's marketing team on the client side.

Solution

I designed a step-by-step question flow adapted to Actinver's visual identity, and proposed the full component set since nothing existed yet. My key decision was to create variants by gender and personalize each path based on the person's interests, resulting in 5 flow variants.

Results: in its first run, the personalized flow cut the cost per lead from $5 to $0.50 (a 90% reduction) and captured 300% more qualified leads, showing how UX decisions can directly drive acquisition performance.
