Challange
LusisPro was created to simplify the pre-clearance and intake process for children with autism in the United States. The initial journey was heavily fragmented, creating administrative stress for families during an already sensitive time.
Parents and caregivers faced complex medical forms, unclear documentation requirements, and a lack of real-time guidance. This friction led to frequent drop-offs, submission errors, and delayed access to essential therapy services.
Goal
The core objective was to design a compassionate, step-by-step intake experience that reduced anxiety for families. We also aimed to streamline document verification so clinical teams could approve requests much faster.
We focused on minimizing cognitive overload through clear status tracking, plain language, and progressive disclosure of information. The goal was to build trust and transform a tedious bureaucratic requirement into a supportive journey.
Solution
We designed an intuitive, mobile-first onboarding flow that guides caregivers effortlessly through document submission. In addition, we optimized internal verification tools to help clinical coordinators process applications without friction.
The new experience replaces confusing medical jargon with reassuring microcopy and clear visual progress indicators. By removing operational roadblocks, families now receive faster approvals and quicker access to critical care.
